Rosie Fan Group Members React to the Wedding
Rosie O'Donnell married her partner of six years in a ceremony Thursday afternoon in San Francisco. The wedding put O'Donnell at the center of the controversy over same-sex marriage. Members of our Rosie Fan Group have been posting there responses all weekend. Here are few of them:

Thank you so much for getting married in our fair city!! My husband
and I were married just last week and it means so much to us that
you were willing to use your celebrity status to help the gay
community in gaining equal rights. We are hoping to adopt a baby in
the next two years and you are such a role model to me.. I want to
thank you from the bottom of my heart...raelly I cannot find the
words to express my graditude for your comming out. Thank you a

Congratulations on your wedding. Rosie, I am appalled with the
President and what he is doing and whathe has said. I am very happily married (not legal) to the love of my life. We are registered as domestic partners. I have written to the
Secretary of State, but no response. I want to be heard, I want
everyone to know that what the President is doing is wrong. He is
targeting one group of people..... a BIG GROUP by the way, and
discriminating against us. It is hateful and very wrong. We are ALL
Americans. We ALL deserve the same rights and what you said after
your wedding was so powerful... I applaud you! I am so happy that you
are standing up for our rights. Because I, a nobody, will probably
never be heard, and I am so desperate to talk to anyone who will
listen... t.v. reporters, etc. But noone will listen. This is
something I believe in VERY strongly and hope that YOU will make a
